Insert Tab Order Registry entry

Specify the order of tabs in Display, New and Edit modes.

Usage

This Registry entry can be assigned to users and groups:

where:

name

is a name for the sequence of tabs specified in this Insert Tab Order Registry entry. The name is referenced in an Insert Tab Order Selected Registry entry to indicate which Insert Tab Order sequence is active for a user / group.

tab;tab;...

is a semicolon separated list of back-end tab names in the order in which the tabs are to display (see Field Level Help for details of how to identify the back-end name of a tab).

Note: Typically, the order in which the tabs display is set at the group level, although there may be circumstances in which it is necessary to define a Registry entry giving an individual user a different tab order display from those of their group.

This entry specifies a tab order for all modes except Search for the Managers group when they use the Parties module:

Note: An Insert Tab Order Selected Registry entry must reference this Insert Tab Order entry by name (specified in Key 6 as Managers Insert Tab Order in this instance) in order that this Insert Tab Order Registry entry applies to the Managers group when they work with the Parties module.
